NO FACE PAINT??? The sign when you walk into the theater said “no face paint”. I was seriously worried they were going to make me wash it off. They did not. #crisisaverted

#spidermanbrandnewday was amazing! My sister and I went to a theater an hour away and sat in the D-Max seats in an UXD theater. It was so amazing and the cost for the seats were well worth it!

Waterproof face paint and BATMAN.

Waterproof face paint has such a different work up. It’s like going from watercolor to oil paints. These tiny details are a bit harder for me with that paint. But this still turned out super cool. And the kiddo was feeling pretty “I’m Batman” after that.

Each year, I get excited about using waterproof and airbrush for the hot season, and come Late August- I’m ready to get back to my water activated paint just in time for the spooky season.

The busy season is upon us. A few more gigs for this summer and then headed into back to back to back to back gigs! Plus- another conference in Virginia with @artfactoryus at the end of August. Let’s rock this season!

Every year, I look forward to breaking out the waterproof face paint to keep those events full of color and glam…and then by September, I am ready to get back to the regular face paint so I can really get into those detailed designs.

I’ll be in Galveston next weekend, then the conference in Virginia, followed by a pickle fest in Angleton, and then Fall at Dewberry farms and a National Night Out in Sugarland in October.

The #acce26 closing party at @mardigrasworld was a hit! I did my own face paint and glitter and was so happy to see a glitter bar set up on site for everyone else! I love connecting with chamber professionals AND my fellow event entertainers!!!! What a wonderful week in NOLA!

This is also my 3rd year with ACCE for their annual convention and this year, everything clicked! From months long preparation, event design, session planning to onsite content gathering….I’m feeling blessed to know so many chambers changing things in their community and love that I can have a tiny part in the work they do. #chamberschangethings

I had such a great time at the @seacentertexas

It was so hot, but they thought of everything! A moisture fan, plenty of water to hand out, crowd control, decorations, indoor activities, lots of volunteers and staff. Way to go, team!!!!

As someone who has worked a lot of vendor events, this was a very well thought out opportunity and I’m so glad I could be a part of it with waterproof facepaint!!

They had people driving from all over to attend and it’s a masterclass on attracting families to the area.

Nothing like finishing prep for a long gig the next day and travel to New Orleans on Sunday like grabbing a beer, turning on a movie you’ve seen a thousand times and just painting without a plan. I started with a vertical swipe of white and it turned into this. Swipe to see the best photos of the look!

Spent a long weekend in my hometown of Wichita Falls, visiting and painting family, seeing a few clients, the chamber and my painted horses!

We took the goboat out on Lake Wichita, spent time in the pool and I kept my face paints with me!

I also got to try some of the new @frankandjoes summer menu, eat at a few of my favorite local restaurants and watch my sister, @abscorpio39 play tennis. I brought my old dog with me and she was incredible!

We are both tuckered out from the trip!!

I’m so excited that I finally had the chance to paint my great niece!!!
